What can adult Allies do for Ally Week?

Good question! While Ally Week is typically a student-led action, adults can work as Allies to support Ally Week organizing! Ask the student organizers in your school or community how you can assist their work. You may be asked to broker conversations between administration and students, pick up materials for a workshop or donate funds for an event. Remember, good Allies lend support where it's needed!

Here are some resources for educators wanting to support Ally Week:

Educators' Guide to Ally Week
This guide will give you information about this annual event and show you how you can participate and support your students' efforts. You'll find information about Ally Week activities: class discussions, staff presentations and the Ally Week Pledge in addition to research and lesson plans. To download, click here.
